Sea Lions are one kind of seal. The trained seals that you see in circuses and water parks are Sea Lions.

How do you tell a Sea Lion from other seals like the Harbor Seal? Easy. Think of 3 things about a real lion: it roars; it has ear flaps; it walks on four feet. Then you can remember that Sea Lions also roar (it’s more like barking). They have ear flaps. And they use their flippers to (sort of) walk on land. Other seals don’t do these things.
